7th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition - JUDGE REGISTRATION

7th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition with Rice Alliance and the Brown School of Engineering -- held in the Shell Auditorium at the Jones School at Rice

This competition will include engineering design project teams, as well as independent design project ideas from the Engineering School at Rice University and across the campus. Teams/Individuals will present 90-second pitches for their projects. The pitches will describe the designs, the problem or need being solved, the competitive advantages, and the commercial potential of the devices and other products. The top 6-8 teams will win cash prizes based on the judges’ scores. We anticipate awarding about $5,000 in cash prizes.

JUDGES NEEDED
As a judge, you will first judge and score all 90-second pitches. Then we will have a a reception where judges may provide feedback to teams of their choosing. Refreshments will be provided during the reception. We aim to announce the winners at 7:00 pm. We will provide detailed judging instructions and judging criteria at the event.
