CPAP Belly
Design Challenge
CPAP is an effective mode of treatment used for treating respiratory failure or failure of lung function for neonates throughout the world. One disadvantage that this therapy has is that there is an inadvertent passage of air into the GI tract. This can lead to abdominal distension and discomfort of the patient. Our goal is to address this issue with a disposable device.
