Design Challenge
Design and test a strategy to provide safe water for your team at Rice (assume everyone lives on campus). You have no reliable power, and your main water source is rain. As alternative source during dry months, you need to use Buffalo Bayou, a slow flowing river with a high level of turbidity.
You will need to determine what “safe water” means to the team, how to remove any unwanted components from the water (rain & BB), how to prove that the water is safe to drink, and the process to collect and treat the water.
