Physical Disability Bathing Aid
Design Challenge
When bathing, there are multiple areas of the body that require dexterity, balance, fine motor control and/or contortion to reach and adequately clean. The goal of this project is to develop a durable device that can easily access and effectively clean the backs, legs, feet, and other hard to reach extremities of special needs pediatric patients while maintaining their stability and safety. Users with low grip strength and dexterity should be able to use the device easily and independently.
