Hand Tools: Intro-Level

This class will teach students the practical skills  necessary to use basic hand tools and powered tools. Topics and tools covered include: cutting tools, shaping tools, fasteners, adhesives, and finishing tools. Students will work in teams to build a birdhouse constructed using these techniques and procedures. Students will come away from this workshop with the knowledge of the correct use of and ability to operate all of the hand tools at the OEDK.

This workshop will be taught at a basic level for all skill levels. No prior experience with any tool is necessary. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can hold up to elbow grease.
