This class will teach students the practical skills necessary for using the laser cutter at the OEDK. Hands-on examples will give students experience preparing files for laser cutting using a combination of raster, etch, and vector cut functions. Students will be trained to use the laser cutter at the OEDK, be tested on this training, and cut designed objects. Students will complete this workshop having learned the proper and improper uses of laser cutting in an iterative design process. This class requires a laptop and a wireless connection. A wireless mouse is strongly recommended. Students must have attended the Intro-Level Laser Cutting workshop. Registration will open on Monday, November 4th at 10:00 am. Registration deadline: Noon - Friday, December 2nd
