Learn the basic techniques and technologies used in 3D printing--a rapid prototyping technique that has recently become popular. In this Intro-level FabShop, students will learn basic 3D CAD skills on free, open source software, have the opportunity to 3D print an object, and discover other additive manufacturing techniques through physical examples. This class requires a laptop and a wireless connection. A wireless mouse is strongly recommended. No previous experience is necessary.
