FabShops - Soldering (Session 4)
Description: Learn how to solder, which is the process of joining metal together by melting them. It's a fundamental skill that makers should have for electronic prototyping. We will have everything you need at the soldering stations to go over how to use the iron, types of soldering, desoldering, safety tips and more. Just come ready to learn! SAME AS SESSION 1.
Preparation and Resources: No prior experience necessary.

Please contact oedk@rice.edu ASAP if you are unable to attend! These events can be very popular. If you cannot attend, a space may be freed up for another attendee.
The OEDK will charge a No-Show Fee of $20.00 per each missed FabShops to student accounts. A No-Show fee will be charged if:
o Registered student does not show up
o If unable to attend and student does not cancel within 24 hours of the start time of each FabShops or if it is a weekend or Monday morning FabShops, by Friday at 8:00 AM CST
