CAD Workshop Spring 2021 #1

FRESHMAN DESIGN (ENGI 120/220 and FWIS 188) Students will come away from this workshop being able to design three-dimensional objects using a free, web-based Computer Aided Design program called SolidWorks. SolidWorks can help you share visual ideas quickly and simply. Attendance options: Face-to-Face (preferred) and Remote.

This workshop will be coordinated by Grant Anderson (gba1@rice.edu) and Anna Jorgensen (aej6@rice.edu) who will send details on the Zoom meeting and any required applications for the class. Please send an email to Grant or Anna if you have any questions.

Number of Possible Participants: 

• 20 Face-to Face OEDK Classroom - must bring own PC laptop with SolidWorks installed (free download provided by course instructors)
• 10 Face-to-Face in OEDK Computer Lab - using classroom computers (for those students who do not have PC laptops)
• Unlimited Remote
