Description:

Introduction to sewing machines, because sewing by hand just takes too long.  Learn skills such as threading the machine, starting and stopping a stitch, and turning corners . Optional skills suh as pleating, sewing on a button and handling iron-ons will also be available. This workshop is meant to teach students the basics of sewing machines and provide a hands-on session where they can make their sewn project to take home.

Preparation and Resources:

No prior experience is necessary. All skill levels welcomed.
