FabShops - Intro to Electronic Prototyping (Arduino)
Description:
Learn the basics of programming an Arduino - a popular open-source electronics prototyping platform. In this Intro-level Fabrication Workshop, attendees will be taught how to build simple devices on breadboards and use an Arduino to gather data from the environment and send output controls to the boards. Then attendees will put their skills to the test by choosing from a variety of provided projects ranging from basic to challenging.
Preparation and Resources:
Students should download and install the Arduino interface onto their laptop prior to the workshop, and bring their laptop with the installed software. Instructions to do this can be found at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software under the Arduino 1.0.6 section.
