Pediatric Sleep Study Device
Design Challenge
Pediatric sleep studies can be a painful and lengthy (45+ mins) process to set up in-lab due to the precision needed for electrode placement and the impedances needed to obtain clear signal from the brain. With this problem in mind, we are challenged to create a device for use by sleep technicians in an in-lab sleep clinic. This device should facilitate a rapid setup time (less than 10 mins), be comfortable for patients aged 12+, and work with current sleep study hardware.
