Design Challenge
Diabetic neuropathy can result in nerve damage in various parts of the body, with one of the most common areas being the weight-bearing areas of their feet. The resulting pain negatively affects their ability to continue as they would have in their everyday lives. As such, for individuals who experience foot pain as a result of mild to moderate diabetic neuropathy, there is a need for a minimally invasive, affordable, and wearable device that effectively alleviates foot pain and improves sensation in the feet.
