Design Challenge
The SUAS competition focuses on the development of an unmanned aerial system (UAS) for aerial robotics. The competition requires students to design, integrate, and demonstrate a UAS capable of autonomous flight, remote sensing via onboard sensors, and execution of a specific set of tasks including object avoidance, image recognition, and payload delivery. The team will be working to design and fabricate their own aerial vehicle and develop the control systems to operate it.
