Development of an Evolutionary Airway Management Device
Design Challenge
Approximately 18% of all endotracheal intubations performed by modern laryngoscopes fail to successfully secure the airway resulting in canceled surgeries, hypoxia, and even death. Our laryngoscope will decrease the rate of difficult intubations by facilitating a fast (<30s), intuitive, and atraumatic endotracheal intubation with remote oversight options at a competitive price point. With this, airway managers of all experiences will be able to quickly conduct laryngoscopies with a clear view while maintaining ample room for intubation.
